Star Wars spectacle Billie Lourd discussed motherhood, her favorite book written by her late mother Carrie Fisher, and more in a Radio Andy interview that airs Friday at 1:00 p.m.
The 28-year-old new mother was roasted by none other than her stepfather, Bruce Bozzi, who married CAA chairman Bryan Lourd in 2016 when she was 14 years old.
Billie surprised everyone on September 24 by announcing the birth of her son Kingston Fisher three months after she announced her fiancé to fiancé Austen Rydell.

“He’s technically not a quarantined baby,” Lourd told the SiriusXM show in Quarantined with Bruce.
‘And I want to make it known because a lot of people get trendy quarantine babies that Kingston received before quarantine. So he’s technically just a Caribbean baby. ‘
The Los Angeles resident calls the coronavirus pandemic a ‘blessing in disguise’ because she had to keep the news to herself.
“Only my family knew and no one else knew, because everyone was so surprised when we posted the photo of his feet,” Billie told the 54-year-old VP of the Palm Restaurant Group.

‘It just had to be something I shared with the people I loved the most, who were so amazing and made my pregnancy so magical and wonderful, that I did not expect it to be, but it was the greatest experience I just had to eat good food, with the people I love, go out and do Legos all the time. I attended a HypnoBirthing class and I loved getting pregnant. ‘
In 2016, Lourd dated the 28-year-old Moon Brothers musician – whose grandfather is On Golden Pond director Mark Rydell – but parenting brought them even closer together.
“He was so caring and amazing and cooked for me and gave me foot massages. And [he] did these lessons with me, ‘storms Joe Biden’s supporter.
‘He did the lactation class and did the positive birth class. So he was every step of me. And we just became even closer friends, even better partners. And I think that prepared us to be the best parents and he’s sitting out there with the baby now. And he is, as you know, the best father in the world. And I think it’s partly because we had to experience this experience together. ‘

Lourd marvels at the 1994 tome: ‘It was structured with letters to me while she was pregnant with me. I have to read it again now after I had a baby. I think it would be a totally different experience and so incredible ‘
Billie also unveiled her top three books written by her late mother – Surrender the Pink (about her marriage to Paul Simon), Postcards from the Edge and Delusions of Grandma.
“It’s so amazing and it’s structured with letters to me while she’s pregnant with me,” Lourd marveled at the 1994 story.
‘I have to read it again now after having a baby. I think it would be a different experience and incredible. But I had to be called Esme, which I do not thank, sorry for everyone who is called Esme. It’s a beautiful name, but I prefer Billie. It’s super, super sweet and amazing. ‘
Unfortunately, Fisher died at the age of 60 in 2016 of sleep apnea / drugs and the next day her famous grandmother Debbie Reynolds, 84, died of a stroke.
