Bill Gates receives Covid-19 vaccine two days after Biden swears over whether the FDA can be trusted under Trump – RT USA News

Microsoft founder Bill Gates received his first dose of Covid-19 vaccine after putting millions into development and distribution, but most used the moment to put forward numerous conspiracy theories.

“I feel great,” Gates announced to the world on Friday, adding a photo of himself receiving a Covid-19 vaccine.

“Thank you to all the scientists, trial participants, regulators and front-line health professionals who have reached us so far,” he added.

At 65, Gates is eligible to receive the vaccine under Washington State’s distribution plan.

Gates has become a household name in discussions about Covid-19, not only because of the millions that have laid its foundations in the development and distribution of vaccines, especially in third world countries, but also because of a narrow viral TED talk of 2015, where technology mogul warned that the world is unprepared for a global pandemic.

The conversation was partly what fueled the conspiracy theories about the billionaire and his intense interest in getting people vaccinated.

Gates acknowledged the conspiracy theories, one of which included placing microchips in vaccines to detect and name people. “strange.”

“It’s weird. They take the fact that I’m involved in vaccines and just turn it around, and instead of giving money to save lives, I earn money to get rid of lives. If it stops people from having a taking a vaccine or looking at the latest information on wearing a mask is a big problem, he said.

This did not stop social media users from turning his vaccination photo into numerous jokes.

Gates was also a controversial figure during the Covid-19 pandemic for his support for extending the closure restrictions – he believes there is no “Return” normal until 2022 – and his harsh attitude towards skeptics about vaccines, and deserves especially criticism from conservative experts such as Candace Owens.

He suggested that health officials fight “Vaccine hesitation” by invoking influential voices to promote it “So we can get a level of vaccination that really has a chance to stop” Covid19.

However, Gates’ role in the pandemic battle appears to be here. He recently tweeted he is “Looking forward to working” with President Joe Biden and Vice President Kamala Harris “To meet some of our toughest challenges such as COVID-19 and climate change.”

He was not so receptive to the Trump administration, and even asked if the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) could be trusted to bring a safe Covid-19 vaccine under the president.

‘Historically, just like the [Centers for Disease Control] considered the best in the world, the FDA has the same reputation as a top regulator, ” he said.
