Nintendo has confirmed that there will be a new update for the mighty Splatoon 2 and it will arrive on Thursday. The version 5.4.0 update is quite significant judging by the patch notes on the official Nintendo website and brings changes in weapon balance and other adjustments in the game. Nintendo will also discuss issues appearing in Starfish Mainstage, Manta Maria, Kelp Dome and Skipper Pavilion. The problem is that the mistake allows the players to reach the base of the opposing team by jumping off certain walls, fortunately this will be corrected. Here are the full patch notes:

Fixed an issue in Starfish Mainstage in which it was possible to enter the base of the opposing team by jumping off certain walls.

Fixed an issue in Kelp Dome in which it was possible to enter the base of the opposing team by jumping off certain walls.
Fixed an issue in Skipper Pavilion in which it was possible to enter the base of the opposing team by transferring between certain walls.
Other changes
- We observed changes after distribution of Ver 5.3.0 and made adjustments to further reduce the fighting power of certain weapons that could hold the battle line over a long period of time compared to other weapons.
- In addition, to increase the variety of weapons chosen, we have adapted different weapons to increase their competitiveness with the most popular weapons.
- We will observe the changes after this update and make further adjustments to Splatoon 2 in the future.
- If you download the latest update data, you will no longer be able to communicate with players in The Shoal using older update data.
- This update also includes changes not listed here, such as improvements to the player experience.
- Sufficient space on the internal system memory or a microSD card is required to download the update.
- Save data will still be available for use after the update is downloaded.
