British reality star Nikki Grahame has died at the age of 38, her representative said.
Grahame, who first appeared in the seventh season of ‘Big Brother UK’ and had her own show ‘Princess Nikki’, passed away on Friday morning, Deadline reported. No cause of death was provided.
The reality star was open about her struggle with anorexia in her autobiographies, “Dying to be Thin” and “Fragile.”
Friends launched a GoFundMe campaign last month to raise money to help treat Grahame.
“Right now, Nikki is constantly feeling weak and struggling on a daily basis,” the page said.
‘She feels trapped and really wants to get better, but feels like it’s impossible. It’s heartbreaking and we desperately want a healthy Nikki with us. ”
On Saturday, her ex and co-star “Big Brother” Pete Bennett said in a video on Instagram: “I thought to myself, yes, we can save her, but we have not. It’s OK, she’s up a good place and no longer suffer.
After Grahame finished fifth in ‘Big Brother UK’ in 2010, he finished second in ‘Ultimate Big Brother’ and appeared in the program as a guest host in the 16th season in 2015. She also participated in ‘Big Brother Canada’ in 2016, according to Variety.
