Washington – The President Joe Biden will have to implement in an official manner the travel restrictions on coronavirus travel to persons who are not related to the nationality procedures of Brazil, Ireland, Great Britain and other 26 European nations that allow travel to cross border areas, inform the home officials of the White House.
Officials, who declare a condition to keep anonymous in order to work on the order, will also confirm that South Africa will add to the list of countries with restrictions restricted to inquiries about a variant of the virus that has been spread more than one.
Biden is awaiting an order implemented by President Donald Trump in his last days in the cargo that will cover the travel restrictions from March.
The decision to revert the order is not surprising, following the addition of South Africa to the list of countries restricting travel between the pre-occupation of the new governing front and the mutations of the virus.
The variant registered in South Africa has not been found in the United States, but another variant, originating in Great Britain, has been detected in various states.
The Reuters news agency was the first media outlet to report Biden’s decision to join South Africa on the list.
Last week, the mandate issued an executive order instructing the federal agencies soliciting international travelers to relocate to the nation via airline. The order also requires that all passengers with a destination to the United States of 2 years or more must have a negative test of COVID-19 made within the three previous days in their journey.
