Sen. John Cornyn, R-Texas, told America Reports on Friday that the government in Biden “miscalculated” the border crisis and “misled” themselves.
Cornyn argued the White House had no plan to deal with the situation, and underestimated the number of migrants trying to enter the US.
The ranking of the subcommittee on security and immigration in the judiciary mentioned that the Biden government’s “fist rule” appears to be “whatever Trump’s policy was … do the opposite.”

JOHN CORNYN: “If they think a radio ad in Guatemala or a podium speaker in Washington, DC is stopping people from trying to enter the United States, they are just misleading themselves, and what I really regret is that they have absolutely no plan.They underestimated it.They had no plan to deal with it, and it is currently in the face of a pandemic.

We’ve seen this movie before during the Obama administration, and you would think that the Biden government, which was part of the Obama administration, would have learned. But I do not know if it is the politics or just the incompetence of this government. That seems to be the rule of thumb, no matter what Trump’s policy was, you’re doing the opposite whether it makes sense or not, and that’s what’s happening here.
