About three-quarters provide funding to return K-12 students (77%) to the classroom, sending stimulus checks worth up to $ 1400 per person for most families and individuals (76%). Both of these policies also have majority support across party lines (55% of Republicans support each, among Democrats, 90% support each).

A smaller majority, 59%, say they are again giving $ 350 billion in support to state and local governments. This policy leads to the sharpest division among the four tested, with 88% of Democrats in favor versus just 28% of Republicans.

One measure not included in the bill – raising the federal minimum wage from $ 7.25 per hour to $ 15 per hour – also has majority support. Overall, 55% are in favor of such an increase in the minimum wage, including 85% of Democrats, 52% of independents and 20% of Republicans.
