(CNN) – Joe Biden’s governor plans to announce these juveniles that will increase the number of refugees that can be found in the United States plan.
It is hoped that President Biden, who has agreed to increase the limit during the campaign, announced his intention to increase the number of refugees allowed in EE.UU. during a visit to the Department of State, following a source. The Trump administration establishes a 15,000 refugee limit for this fiscal year, the highest since 1980. It is not clear how much this will limit the Biden administration.
The president must approve the refugee limit. Biden has agreed to establish an annual limit of 125,000, although the plan is expected to expire in October, when the tax year begins, to establish this limit, following one of the sources.
The increase in refugee limits is based on a series of Biden decrees intended to establish a new framework for United States immigration policy after the Trump administration’s outline.
Decrees on Biden immigration
On Tuesday, the president signed three decrees that, in large part, ordered a revision of Trump’s politicians’ policies, including the establishment of a working group designed to reunite families separated on the frontier between the United States and Mexico.
“I’m not taking a new step, I’m eliminating the bad guys,” said Biden at Casa Blanca, flanked by Vice President Kamala Harris. “If the United States is treated as the safest, most powerful and most prosperous, we will have a just, orderly and humane legal immigration system.”
Before collecting the cargo, the refugee admissions have a key point between the Biden Transition Team and the National Security Department, which play a key role in the process, giving CNN a familiar acquaintance with the discussions.
Limit on refugee deaths
Each year, the administration establishes a limit on the number of refugees who can be admitted to the United States. Historically, the amount of admissions has fluctuated since the world events, although in general it has been high.
From the fiscal years 1990 to 1995, for example, many refugees fled to the United States in the early Soviet Union, according to the Pew Research Center.
And in the last years of the presidency of Barack Obama, the administration raised the tech refugee base from 85,000 in fiscal year 2016 to 110,000 in fiscal year 2017 in mid-Syria crisis.
