Bid administration to enforce strict COVID-19 guidelines for White House staff: report

According to new guidelines sent to staff members on Tuesday, the incoming Biden administration plans to enforce stricter guidelines to protect the spread of COVID-19 in the White House than its predecessor.

According to the guidelines, reported by Axios, staff will have to take coronavirus tests daily and wear N95 face masks.

The efforts to stem the spread of the virus are in contrast to the Trump White House, which has been plagued by a number of COVID-19 outbreaks as administration officials did not want to wear masks. President TrumpDonald Trump Giuliani used preliminary voting to vote in the 2020 election, the same method he dismissed in the fight to overturn the results. Trump recently received the lowest job approval as DC president Bill Sammon’s managing editor. was sent to the hospital during his battle with the coronavirus after an outbreak at an outdoor event in the Rose Garden where most of the participants were seen without masks.

The lead was sent to officials who will have a proximity to a White House principal, who is likely to refer to department heads.

It also looks like staff will have their first doses of coronavirus vaccine.

“Those who have not yet received your first vaccine,” reads the guidance, according to reports, “we will follow up in the coming days with information on how to do this.”

In addition to wearing masks and the quick 15-minute antigen tests, staff are also told to keep six feet apart.

“The White House of Biden will follow public health guidelines that ensure we keep all staff safe during the pandemic,” a transitional official told Axios.

Transitional officials did not immediately respond to a request for comment from The Hill.
