Game giant Bethesda teases something The older rolesrelated.
In a post on the series’ Twitter account on December 31, tweeted the company a picture of a map with the caption “Transcribe the past and map the future.” Of course, this can only be a message that wishes his fans a prosperous new year, but there is also speculation by fans about what it could mean.
As indicated by Rock Paper Shotgun, the map in question is of the Skyrim region and has three lights. One is according to the heading “Province of Skyrim” for the map – also in the unmarked area of Hammerfell – while the other is the location of Solitude, the capital of Skyrim. The final light is through a pile of coins that were apparently seen in a collectors issue of the 2020 Greymoor expansion for … The Elder Scrolls Online.
Honestly, who knows. There are probably bigger things you need to worry about now, such as a certain global pandemic, the fact that we are literally boiling the planet, or the absurd and ever-increasing gap between rich and poor.
Anyway.
Maybe this is not the teaser for The Elder Scrolls 6 that many hoped for. The title was announced at E3 2018, but Bethesda said it will be a while before we hear much about this brand new project.
The firm’s boss Todd Howard said he made some big technical leaps in the Creation Engine for The Elder Scrolls 6 and Starfield.
Meanwhile, Bethesda has teased the next chapter of its Elder Scrolls Online MMO, which apparently takes place in Oblivion.
Microsoft announced in September 2020 that it would buy Bethesda for $ 7.5 billion.
