Bethesda teases Elder Scrolls 6 neighborhood

Wake up and clap on your game caps, fans of Elder Scrolls. The Elder Scrolls VI may still be a long way off, but it has certainly never stopped anyone from trying to discover details about where and when it could be set up. The game is back on track thanks to a map that Bethesda posted with a message that looks like it could definitely be a hint that ES6 will go to Hammerfell. Can be.

Here is the full map below, which Bethesda posted with the message “Transcribe the past and map the future. Here’s a happy new year! ‘It could just be a simple New Year’s wish next to a map of Skyrim, or maybe it’s a cryptic hint about the following Elder Scrolls game.

People online speculate that placing candles on the image is a clue to the future of the series. ‘Transcribe the past’ may refer to the candle next to Solitude, an important place in The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim. By logic, then, it is clear that the candle will very clearly be placed under the empty, unfilled space called “Hammerfell,” which we will map in the future, yes?

Hammerfell, in the world of Tamriel, is home to the Redguard people. It’s mostly a barren place with the vast Alik’r desert. It definitely seems like a good idea that the original preview trailer below and this new card sing the same tune.

What about the third candle? It sits next to a set of coins that was included in the physical collector’s issue for the Greymoor expansion of The Elder Scrolls Online last year. Maybe it’s a thing from the past, the present, the future? Heck, maybe the whole thing is an ESO-related teaser. Or, indeed, it might just be a fun little message meant to drive fans wild.

Bethesda announced the next Elder Scrolls game in 2018 and has said very, very little about it ever since. It’s been years away, behind the space RPG Starfield in their production schedule, and far enough that they said we should probably ask for years from now. Of course, they will be uncomfortable if it is a type of TES6 tip.

If you missed the news in September, Microsoft bought Bethesda.
