Bethesda sells a very expensive version of the ring that you can marry in older roles

Maybe Bethesda needs quick cash while joining the new Elder role game, or maybe they’re just trying to capitalize on people getting engaged during the pandemic. Either way, they just added a new item to their trading website: a 10K Ritual of Mara gold ring. Yes, like those of the Elder Scrolls games that give you a 10% bonus for both partners. No, it does not give you an XP boost in real life. Sorry.

The thick gold ring costs $ 1,000 (approximately £ 733) and is only available until February 14 and arrives at customers some time after April. On the inside is engraved the quote “with this ring and the blessing of Mara”, as well as the copyright of Bethesda and the name of the manufacturer, RockLove, which also makes licensed jewelry for Disney, League of Legends and Marvel. They have worked with Bethesda in the past and made the Amulet of Mara Skyrim, and the DOOM Eternal Slayer Key Hanger.

As one commentator claims under Eurogamer’s coverage of the story, this style of ring manufacturing is known as ‘wax injection molding’ and will usually cost $ 160-250 (£ 117 – £ 183), depending on the quality. A price increase which is therefore also the most worthy Khajiit trader.

We let you judge for yourself whether the ring is worth renting for about a month:

What do you think?
