There’s a new housewife in Greenwich, Conn.!
TV star and entrepreneur Bethenny Frankel has bought a classic Colonial in the richest city in the Nutmeg state for only $ 2.12 million, according to property records.
At the same time, Frankel’s former Tribeca apartment – which she sold for $ 7 million in 2016 – hit the market again, this time asking for $ 7.49 million.
The five-bedroom, 4-bathroom home in Greenwich, on Pecksland Road, originally raised $ 2.85 million in 2018.
The trustee for the purchase of the former star of Bravo’s “Real Housewives of New York” new home is Matt Klarberg, managing director of Monarch Business and Wealth Management, who according to Variety Frankel is considered his client.
The 4,698 square foot spread has a red door and white picket fence. The house was built in 1945 and covers an area of 2.1 hectares.
Inside there is a foyer, an open plan lounge and family room with cozy fireplaces. French doors lead to a stone terrace, garden and swimming pool. There is also a eat-in-cook kitchen, a dining room with personal cabinets, a wine cellar and a main suite with vaulted ceilings, a fireplace, a lounge and a private deck.
The current decor is quite traditional. We hear, however, Frankel intends to spice it up with a few modern touches.
The Greenwich House listing broker, Maria Crowley of Houlihan Lawrence, declined to comment.
