(CNN)The gloves, the attitude, the social distance – they all helped make a photo of Senator Bernie Sanders an internet sensation during the inauguration. And now the image can be part of your wardrobe.
Sanders ‘campaign store sells sweatshirts with the photo that inspired countless memes, and all proceeds go to Meals on Wheels programs in Sanders’ home state of Vermont.
The $ 45 black crewneck sweatshirt is made in the USA and printed in a true Sanders fashion.
According to the campaign store’s website, the sweatshirt looks just as popular as the meme – it’s currently sold out ‘due to overwhelming demand’, suggesting it could take up to eight weeks to receive the item.
Age Well, the largest supplier of Meals on Wheels in Vermont, said on Twitter it was “blown away by the support for our Meals on Wheels program” from the sweatshirt sales.
Age Well CEO Jane Catton told CNN’s subsidiary WCAX: “On behalf of all the aging agencies and our partners in the community who help us deliver meals, it’s a great gift and we can no longer be grateful do not be. “
