Terri Nunn apologizes after performing for a New Year’s Eve party held at Donald Trump’s Mar-a-Lago resort.
The Berlin singer has joined a list of other artists in the Florida resort who have since apologized for their decisions to participate in the shindig. According to Nunn, the controversial action was not intended as a political stance, adding that she was amazed at the loose nature of coronavirus protocols on the luxury property.
“I’m really sorry I performed at Mar-a-Lago and would not have done it if I had known what I was learning while I was there,” Nunn said in a statement on social media on Berlin’s Facebook -account.
“My purpose in action was not to support a political party. I now see that this was not the case, and I apologize for that.”
