Matt Grzelcyk was already ruled out for Saturday’s game, so Connor Clifton will be in the second pair with Brandon Carlo again.
As for the capitals, they will get some major reinforcements as Alex Ovechkin is activated from the COVID-19 list. Dmitry Orlov was too, but it does not appear he is ready to return to the series yet.
Tuukka Rask will be in the net for the Bruins, and Vitek Vanecek will likely go to Washington.
