Ben Carson says MLK will ‘take offense’ after Vermont Government Scott determines racial vaccination

Former secretary for housing and urban development, dr. Ben Carson, criticized the Vermont Republican government, Phil Scott, as the latest patron of ‘identity politics’ after announcing that the coronavirus vaccine will soon be available to non-White households over ‘Hannity’.

CARSON: This whole identity politics is toxic. If Martin Luther King were here today, he would be absolutely offended. He wanted people to be judged by their character and not by the color of their skin – and here we do everything in our power to separate people based on race, religion, gender, whatever things we can find.

Instead of the United States, we become the Divided States. And a house divided against itself cannot stand. This is the most ridiculous policy, and I hope the state of Vermont will reconsider it very seriously. And we need to start looking at our population in terms of who needs it, and work on the basis of need rather than on the basis of superficial identifying characteristics.
