Bella Thorne condemns ‘disgusting’ treatment of Britney Spears and says ‘we are all part’ of the problem

Bella Thorne stands behind Britney Spears because the concern for the pop star has peaked.

Thorne, 23, spoke in an interview with Fox News this week to promote her new single, “Shake It,” which was released on Friday. The former Disney star also shared her opinion on the public’s treatment of Spears after watching the now viral documentary, Framing Britney Spears.

“It was so sad when I looked at it,” Thorne said of the doctor. “Everything I watched made me really, really, very sad knowing that it was happening, knowing that it was still happening, knowing that we were all part of it, and that we had all done it to her. “

The singer and actress – who was herself in the spotlight at a young age, first as a model before her breakout role in ‘Shake It Up’ on the Disney Channel, said she could relate all too well to the trivial experiences that Spears endured.

“When I was 14, I was very famous and there were paparazzi. People were constantly looking at me and trying to touch me and put themselves around me in my life,” Thorne reflected. “False people, real people, all kinds of people, including the public who judge me on everything I do.”

Thorne said that worldwide fame, and especially childhood, can be downright terrifying, but believes Spears suffered far greater damage than anyone could turn their heads on.

‘Even if you did nothing about it [Britney], you talked to her friends about her, you heard about the pictures of her hitting that car, someone made a joke in a group – we’re all part of it. It makes it so much more unbelievable, “Thorne said of the previous audience mocking the” toxic “singer. The documentary is astounding in the sense that it really gives us the full perspective of the situation. But it’s really disgusting in the sense that it’s here in black and white, that’s what we did to her. Dear, I just literally feel awful. ‘

The New York Times program took a deeper look at what was going on behind the scenes of Spears’ infamous crash in 2007 in which she hit a photographer’s car with an umbrella after shaving her head. Thorne said it was now obvious that Spears was merely a mother who “just wanted to see her children.”

“If anyone had known that behind these photos would be a different situation,” Thorne said.

The ‘Infamous’ star said she was also on the receiving end of slut damaging like Spears, who received an apology from her ex Justin Timberlake last week. Thorne remembers the emotions she felt after her ex Charlie Puth claimed she cheated on him.

“I was called a cheater and a slut and it hurt and people still think it’s true,” Thorne said. “I definitely had a fair amount of people who put a different perspective on me or lied about me in public. I definitely relate to the male malpractice that is placed on all of us, in our women.”

“Let’s we #FreeBritney all day. I think everyone should apologize to her everywhere on social media and say, ‘We’m sorry. We’m sorry we did this to you. We’re sorry we put it on you “We see you now. We’re here and we see you,” Thorne added.

Thorne was quite busy in quarantine amid the coronavirus pandemic in her Los Angeles home, despite the global health crisis that wreaked havoc in film productions and live performances.

The singer excitedly dished out how she hopes her new hit “Shake It” will put the listeners at ease during an otherwise difficult time.

“I really felt the world needed it. I needed it,” Thorne said. “What a fun, relaxing song. You listen to it and your body immediately goes a little loose. It makes me want to dance. I just think we need it with all the awfulness we went through. We need to have some kind of release. ‘
