The legend of Bee Gees, Barry Gibb, went blushing after Lisa Wilkinson of The Sunday Project asked him a VERY serious question about his ‘tight pants’
Sir Barry Gibb has certainly been asked all his questions in his decades-long career.
However, the Bee Gees legend blushed after Australian TV presenter Lisa Wilkinson became quite interested in his pants over the weekend.
The 74-year-old musician appeared on The Sunday Project, where Lisa, 61, said she appreciated his ‘tight pants’ – referring to the group’s penchant for wearing very unforgiving pants – when she was a teenage girl.

Lisa told the superstar, ‘I have to tell you, Barry, I was a teenager in the’ 70s when [the Staying Alive music video] came out. ‘
‘Oh those white pants. I want to say too late, thank you, ‘the veteran TV presenter added with an exuberant look.
Barry giggles awkwardly before joking: “I remember how hard it was to get on and how hard to get off.”

Fearlessly, she persisted and asked if the sparkling outfits had an effect on the group’s singing.
“Did it give the subjects extra zest?” she asked. “Did you record a half octave?”
‘Do you imagine that the tight pants were responsible for the falsetto? With that I matter! Barry jokes blushingly before adding, “I thought your voice got deeper.”

Barry again featured 11 Bee Gees songs and one of his own unreleased tracks on the country album with singers such as Dolly Parton, Sheryl Crow, Keith Urban, Olivia Newton-John and Little Big Town.
While looking for some other genres of music, Barry hoped to break out of the ‘disco’ form.
“It was a project – a bit like making a movie,” the singer told NPR last week. ‘You become a character and try to fit in with the soundtrack. “But reinventing yourself is the greatest fun of all for me,” he added.
