An unknown man exposed himself during an impromptu Instagram live session hosted by Bebe Rexha on the afternoon of March 4 around 2pm PT, forcing the artist to shut down the live stream.
Rexha, who is releasing a new song “Sacrifice” on streaming services tonight, appears regularly on the IG Live platform to talk about her life, mental health and beauty routines, often starring her dog Bear, and has fans invited to join her in the run up to the single fall. About 8,000 were turned on when comments apparently “got out of hand and Bebe called it out”, according to a viewer. Then an old man flashed her hair. She hacked down IG and killed her. ‘
Rexha took to Twitter to share her frustration and wrote: ‘I am honestly disgusted. And shaken. … I’m so sorry it happened. She then decided to locate the flash.
When Rexha later returned to the platform, 35,000 were set.
Variety Rexha got her hands on it early on and she further decided on her decision to appeal to fans: ‘On Instagram, it’s like Russian Roulette. You hope you get a good fan. But you do not know. ”
Rexha recalled a series of inappropriate remarks, during which she decided to call out the “haters” by inviting them to the Live. “I thought he was trying to be smart … by hating the haters. And I know this is not the best way to go. Then I called him and I was so confused. Like: is this a joke? Is there anyone filming a photo of their screen? She describes the image darkly but clearly recognizable as a penis-like dick on my screen. ‘
Rexha especially bothered because her followers are young while she is 31. “I’m very protective of my fans. What if a 14-year-old boy or girl just sees it? I’m traumatized that it happened in front of all my fans. I felt guilty about it. “
She also added: “I felt contempt.”
Although Rexha was clearly excited and admittedly ‘in a more emotional state’ (due to an illness), Rexha did laugh when her mother called to ask, ‘Why didn’t you get him off the screen faster?’ Rexha replied: ‘If you call someone in the Live chat, they should now take themselves out of X. Previously, you could take out their X, so Instagram should bring that feature back. ”

Rexha plans to appear in an episode of the YouTube Originals series ‘RELEASED’ tonight at 20:45 PT. where she will talk about her upcoming album, play a game of “Sacrifice” and sing her hit songs “In the Name of Love” and “Meant to Be” in the opera style. The special leads to the world premiere of the video for ‘Sacrifice’.
Talk to Variety in October, Rexha described her upcoming album as ‘coming from my uncertainty’. The native of Staten Island said: “Whether it’s the song ‘Sabotage’ or ‘Break My Heart Myself’, which talks about my mental illness, or songs about my jealousy and trust issues with relationships, or that I think I’m going – Buy everything in my life – most of the album follows this theme. It starts out nice and gets a little darker. I had a song with Lil Uzi Vert called ‘The For A Man’, which I wrote after an outline, and it was more of an empowering song for me. ”
