After 4 years in the Mitchell Trubisky era, it looks like the Chicago Bears will separate from him during the off-season. During a press conference at the end of the year with Ryan Pace and Matt Nagy, they expressed how the quarterfinals were a major factor in the lack of success this season. Instead of blaming Coach Nagy or Nick Foles, who were 2-5 as an appetizer, most of the blame fell on Trubisky’s shoulders.
Later in the week, George McCaskey had this to say about Trubisky:
“He is an excellent young man. His teammates love him. He works his butt off. He likes the game of football. Off the field, he excelled as a representative of the Bears. ”
To begin with, if the Bears cannot find another quarterback during the off-season, they may find trouble. I’m sure Trubisky and his agent looked at what Nagy and Pace had to say this past week. None of them need be happy after hearing what the team has to say.
Trubisky’s teammate Cordarrelle Patterson has asked Deshaun Watson to come to Chicago on Twitter. This is something Patterson did last season by tweeting players asking them to come to Chicago. This time it’s a quarter. So much for Patterson who has Trubisky’s back.
Over the past three seasons, Trubisky has taken the blame for every loss. For every win over the past three years, it was because of how well the defense played. There was a lack of appreciation for him. I think a 25-13 record with two playoffs was not good enough.
In the future, it looks like the Bears will make a change at quarterback. According to FanDuel, Trubisky has -225 chances to play for a new team next season. Teams included in the same article were the Jets, Patriots and Washington.
SportsLine has different chances for the quarterback position. According to them, the Bears Week 1 starter will be:

It seems that fans are divided on social media. Many of them are looking for change, some of them want Trubisky as a bridge quarterback and another group want him back, but without Nagy as his coach.
The Bears are also in the Watson draw. They have the fifth best chance of getting him to land (+550), with the Texans having the best because he is already in their team.
