Bean dad John Roderick deleted his Twitter account Sunday after an onslaught of brutal criticism for forcing his 9-year-old daughter to struggle for six hours to open a can of beans and revive the anti-Semitic and homophobic tweets .
‘He’s gone for an interview and we all discover that the 9-year-old’s father is also a racist and anti-Semite. Busy Sunday! ”Journalist Soledad O’Brien, tweeted.
What she is referring to is a series of old reports from Roderick that reappeared on Sunday in which he joked about rape, Jewish lawyers, ruining everyone’s pleasure “and says the” founders meant the USA as a white homeland. “

Like the quick, judgmental response Roderick received after posting a 23-tweet story to force his hungry 9-year-old daughter to figure out how to use a can opener by hand to make a can of baked beans for six hours to open, response to the new, old, old tweets came back to haunt him.
“The bean dad who is canceled because he’s a joke to his daughter and that people realize he’s basically a Nazi is like when they got Capone for tax evasion,” one Twitter user wrote.

That’s funny. I do not know the whole story. It has something to do with the fact that a father decides for a bean. BUT. There is also racism, misogyny, anti-Semitism and Ken Jennings defending a man who practices such things.

In a 23-post thread on Saturday, Roderick described in detail a scenario in which he discovers that his young daughter does not know how to use a can opener and challenged her to figure it out for herself. It took him ‘SIX HOURS on and off’, according to him, while she finally broke down in tears – while working on a puzzle.
The phrases #BeanDad along with ‘she’s 9’ and ‘SIX HOURS’ all tended to Sunday, while people mocked and criticized him, and some called him everything from an ‘a-hole’ to ‘insulting’.
“Danger!” champion Ken Jennings, meanwhile, defended Roderick, who co-hosted the podcast “Omnibus,” which compiles an encyclopedia guide to strange but true stories for a time capsule twice a week.
“If it reassures anyone, I personally know that he (a) is a loving and attentive father who (b) tells story-by-effect stories about his own irritability on ten podcasts a week. This website is so stupid, ”Jennings tweeted.
