Bayonetta 3 Information Hopefully the director tells about it

Hideki Kamiya, a designer, supervisor, writer and director of PlatinumGames, recently commented on the state of the studio’s upcoming title, Bayonetta 3. Kamiya said during a new Arcade Archives stream, with Hamster CEO Satoshi Hamada, that the studio hopes to provide an update on the title at some point this year. [Thanks, Nintendo Everything!]

Kamiya also explained that he is not allowed to talk much on the subject. In the line, he said he was also working on other unannounced projects before admitting that he was not sure if he might mention the existence of the ongoing but unannounced projects in the first place.

Most announcements regarding Bayonetta 3 center around the fact that it is still in development. In May 2020, Kamiya responded to a question as to whether he was “bored” about the possible cancellation of the game, or not, by saying that people with these kinds of concerns: “… should throw them out the window immediately because we “We are still working hard on it and it has not been canceled at all.” Kamiya also told Famitsu that the development was “going smoothly.” In terms of what fans can expect from the game, Kamiya explained that there is a lot of information in the preview of the game is hidden. We also know that the design process for Bayonetta 3 was different from the process used for the first two matches.

Bayonetta 3 was first announced as an exclusive Nintendo Switch at The Game Awards 2017. The original version of its predecessor, Bayonetta 2, released as exclusive to the Nintendo Wii U and was eventually made available on the Switch as well. The protagonist of the series recently appeared as the playable character Wonder-Bayonetta in The Wonderful 101 Remastered.
