Bayonetta 3 is still the game that enchants many Nintendo fans to hear more. After more than three years of silence, no important information about the upcoming action game was released outside the initial preview. Fortunately, if everything finally expands properly this year, this trend should change.
In a recent interview, Hideki Kamiya from PlatinumGames spoke Bayonetta 3 a bit and teased fans with when they might finally get to know more. Kamiya was asked about the status of some of Platinum’s current projects after which he raised the third installment in the action series. ‘Well, I guess … we’ve been working on new things like Bayonetta 3, not that I can say too much, ”Kamiya said. “But I hope we can give an update during the year.”
Kamiya further said that he also hopes that Platinum fans can update on some unannounced projects that the studio is also running. He admitted that he probably should not have even mentioned this last point, but he threw it out the same nonetheless. “The point is: I’m trying to do a lot of things this year,” he explained.
Even though there is not much to go on here yet Bayonetta 3, it’s at least good to know that the game reaches a point where Platinum executives are entertaining the idea of showing more to the public. Clearly, developers around the world have had a much harder time with their work over the past year due to the COVID-19 pandemic, which may have played a role in why nothing has been shown about the game recently. is not.
If any updates pop up Bayonetta 3it seems likely that we will hear more in a Nintendo Direct presentation. At the moment, Nintendo has not yet announced any plans to hold one of these shows in 2021. That said, Nintendo’s last Direct has already taken place in October, so we may be in line soon.
