Battle.net gets its first in years, Blizzard announced.

This new version of Blizzard’s famous launcher is designed to welcome players of all abilities and make sure they can easily navigate the app, Blizzard said.

Major changes include improved navigation and layout (you can now make your games favorite and arrange it for easy access), a more extensive layout for news and game content, a revamped social window, accessibility enhancements and a new, consolidated notification hub. The patch only turns out in North America (my app is still on the current version). It will be launched elsewhere in the coming weeks, Blizzard said. “This is just the beginning of the new features coming to Battle.net; we will be constantly repeating, improving and adding to the app.”

Battle.net was launched in December 1996, a few days before the original Diablo. The launcher was officially renamed Blizzard App in 2017, but Blizzard later reversed the decision. These days, Battle.net is home to Activision’s computer games as well as Blizzard games. Under the “Partner Games” section, you’ll find a series of Call of Duty titles, including Warzone.
