Batman and Superman will reportedly meet in the Arrowverse

Later this month, the Arrowverse will expand with the premiere of Superman and Lois, with long-term guest star Tyler Hoechlin as principal as the man of steel. It was a big deal when The CW already understood the hero to take advantage of the hero in 2016, and since then, the network’s DC franchise has grown and grown. In 2019’s “Crisis on Infinite Earths” even a version of Batman appears – the corrupt Bruce Wayne of Kevin Conroy from another earth – but will there ever be a day when Superman and Bats can team up within the Arrowverse?

Well, we hear that this is definitely something the network is hoping for, because according to insider Daniel Richtman, The CW wants Clark Kent and Bruce Wayne to meet at some point. Their goal is apparently to build their Justice League into a more comically accurate lineup and they plan to eventually have the two heroes cross.

Of course, the Arrowverse eventually formed a version of the Justice League – albeit without naming it so – at the end of ‘Crisis’, with the roster consisting of Superman, Flash, Supergirl, White Canary, Batwoman, Martian Manhunter and Black Lightning. At the end of next season, however, the team will have three members. Kate Kane is already out and Kara Danvers and Jefferson Pierce will be following soon, so adding Batman to their ranks would be a great coup.

Fans wondered if The CW was about to launch the Dark Knight when Warren Christie emerged as the true face of Bruce in Bat Christie plays Hush, who underwent surgery to look like the billionaire. He would presumably be the first choice to fill the role, if they were the clearance of Warner Bros. could finally get their hands on the Caped Crusader.

Superman and Lois debuted with a two-hour premiere on Tuesday, February 23, and while that is unlikely to happen this year, Batman may be on his way to the Arrowverse in the not so distant future.
