While many governors and legislators have been implementing and expanding locks that have devastated small businesses, Barstool Sports founder Dave Portnoy provides the necessary relief.
The Barstool Fund, founded by Portnoy to help small businesses in need, raised more than $ 16 million on December 31st.
Earlier in December, Portnoy launched the fund with a contribution of $ 500,000 of its own money. Since then, the relief fund has experienced tremendous growth.
“Once you’re in our program, we’ll pay you what you need, the necessities you need, the money you need to get through this thing and give you a fair chance to run your business,” Portnoy said. . ‘These people do not like business because they are not successful or do not make money, it is because they have no other choice. They got a hand that no one could play. ”
Since the inception of the fund, Portnoy has provided regular information on the businesses helping the fund.
