The 60-year-old Ver Steeg is a 38-year-old coach, who was recently Senior Assistant / Running Backs coach from 2019-20. Baltimore has led the NFL to chase each of the past two seasons, while Ver Steeg is working closely with the fullbacks.
Before joining the Ravens in 2008 as a member of Harbaugh’s original staff in Baltimore, Ver Steeg had 21 years of experience as an assistant coach, and also spent one season with the Chicago Bears (1996) as an offensive assistant. spent.
Ver Steeg has an extensive background working with runners, quarterbacks and wide receivers, and he has helped the Ravens offense in several areas, including game preparation, game and practice analysis, advanced player exploration and development.
Ver Steeg initially entered the coaching ranks at collegiate level at his alma mater, USC, in 1984. He has since held numerous college positions, leading several players who have benefited under his supervision, including quarterback Alex Smith (Utah) and Ray Rice.
