‘Bachelor’ alum who returned for Matt James

She’s an explosion from the past.

“Bachelor” fans were surprised to see former franchisee Heather Martin turn up to shoot her shot with current leader Matt James.

The 25-year-old – who originally appeared on Colton Underwood’s season of “The Bachelor” – made headlines last week when she appeared out of nowhere to ask to join this season. The episode was cut off just as she approached James.

On Season 23 of ‘The Bachelor’, which aired in 2019, Martin made headlines because he had never been kissed. On the show, she got her first pick from Underwood.

Although they have never met, James Martin immediately recognizes.

If that sounds complicated, it’s because it is: while Martin is competing for the heart of Underwood, Martin befriends fellow contestant Hannah Brown, who later became ‘The Bachelorette’. Although Brown did not end up with contestant Tyler Cameron, his good friends remained with him. Cameron is James’ best friend, which is why he’s finally got the lead this season. James and Brown are also very close.

Martin argued that he offered Chris Harrison, that it was Brown who sparked the idea for her to get on The Bachelor for James before he got engaged, because Brown thought the two would be a good couple.

Like many former ‘Bachelor’ contestants, Martin works as an influencer (she has 256,000 Instagram followers). She is based in Carlsbad, California, a coastal town in the southern part of the state.

In September last year, she starred in a music video ‘Song for a Girl’ by country artist Lawson Bates.

Martin has a strong Christian faith and she regularly posts Bible verses on her Instagram stories. Her Instagram bio mentions Mark 10:45, which reads, “For even the Son of man came not to be ministered unto, but to minister, and to give his life a ransom for many.”

She has two similar sisters, Colie and Shannon. The trio will soon launch a merchandise series called Tilted Three ,. They teased the project on Instagram.

She is also known for her cheerful disposition.
