Along with his voting company, Daniel Abt is a professional racer currently competing in the Formula E Series. As a connoisseur of fine car equipment, his latest video features a quarter-mile drag race between a Lamborghini Aventador SVJ and Porsche 911 GT2 RS.
Important readers will know that the two vehicles are very close on paper, and that they would be right. While the Lambo has slightly more power than the Porsche – 770 horsepower versus 700 horsepower – and four-wheel drive, the German competitor has precision engineering on its side. Besides being lighter, the GT2 RS also has a PDK gearbox that shifts much faster than the single clutch in the Aventador SVJ.

Regardless, the Lamborghini scored a hard-fought victory in the first race from the outset. While the Porsche began to catch up with its rival towards the end, it was simply not enough. On a rough and unprepared surface, Abt warmed up his rear tires before the second race to find traction earlier – his initial sprint to 100 km / h (100 km / h) sadly took 3.8 seconds in the first race.
The second hit produced a very different result with the Porsche finally unhooking its tires and achieving a convincing victory. After a tough loss, the pair ended the video with a running race where the Porsche achieved a close victory.
Although the GT2 RS often takes a bit of fault for the lack of sound and theater, this video proves that the numbers are not lying. Although the Aventador has a Novitec exhaust system in the video, it saddens us not to mention that the V12 engine would have been triumphant even in stock. Regardless, the opportunity to fully race these cars on a runway is a victory in itself.
