Austin Rivers deserves a little adoration from Knicks fans, though that may not extend to the home front.
The guard posted a hilarious video on Instagram in which he explained to his girlfriend, Audreyana Michelle, that he was going to practice at the Knicks facility on Tuesday after the holiday after returning from a week-long trip.
‘She’s crazy that I want to go on my day off … and we (group) have just returned from a long journey. lol and yes, it really is, ”Rivers said in his first caption on the Instagram story.
“Can I have one day for myself?” Michelle is heard asking in the background. “Would you like to spend the f-king day with me?”

Rivers, who signed a $ 10 million three-year deal this offseason, are making an impressive start to the Knicks. After missing training camp and the first four games with a groin injury, Rivers averaged 10 points per game in three games, despite a lack of training time under Tom Thibodeau.
Rivers was on the floor in the final minutes of rugby games over the Pacers and Hawks.
Rivers ended the video with a recording of the Knicks practice facility with the caption, “I’m up. She’s hot now” with a laughing emoji.
Rivers and Michelle have been dating since early 2020 and are expecting a child together.
