The German company says that the A6 e-tron will be produced in Europe as well as in China and will be available in all major markets worldwide.
The high-end car manufacturer Audi presented this lune in Auto Shanghai 2021 a conceptual version of its next sedan, the A6 e-tron, completely electric, which will be “as elegant as dynamic”.
Although the German company announced that the production version would not be announced until the second half of 2022, some details of the new car were revealed. Verklaar Audi, the A6 base is based on the modular platform for electric vehicles, named ‘Premium Platform Electric’ or ‘PPE’, which the company is developing with Porsche.
The carriageway of 4.96 meters long, 1.96 meters long and 1.44 meters high is designed as a ‘sportback’, and its lines are “an obvious reflection of the systematic advance of the current design of Audi” , according to the manufacturer.
In addition, it is hoped that the car will have a 100 kWh battery, which will ensure an autonomy of more than 700 kilometers. While, the 800-volt on-board technology allows for ultra-fast charging: it takes no more than 10 minutes to charge enough energy to cover 300 kilometers.
The future version will be produced in the plants of the Volkswagen Group all over Europe as in China and will be available in the main markets all over the world.
