Atletico Madrid 14 beaten in his first 16 LeLiga matches

Luis Suarez scored 14 goals in his first 16 LaLiga Santander matches for Atletico Madrid to become their first player to do so in his first season since then for the club Radamel Falcao.
Previously, the last Atletico player to register this score was Christian Vieri in the campaign 1997/98 and before him Baltazar and Pruden did so in the 1980s and 1940s, respectively.
Oddly enough, all three of them eventually became LaLiga Santander top scorers at the end of their respective seasons.
Suarez at the top of the Pichichi hit lists and if he wins the award, he will be the first Atletico player to do so since his compatriot Diego Forlan in 2009.
His good friend Lionel Messi is the main competitor for the prize, with Youssef En-Nesyri, Gerard Moreno and Karim Benzema also compete for the award for the top scorer.
To reach the 14 LaLiga Santander goals this season, Suarez scored five with his right foot, four with his left foot, two with headers, two from the spot and one through a direct free kick.
Suarez arrived at the end of September from Barcelona and within a few months he only registered numbers Falcao this century for Athletic management.
The Colombian striker helped Diego Simeoneon the side of the Europa League and the UEFA Super Cup success in 2012 and the Copa del Rey one year later.
