According to the emergency authorities, a liquid nitrogen leak in a food packaging plant in Gainesville, Georgia, died Thursday and nine others were left in the hospital.
Authorities contacted Prime-Pak Foods Inc. after 10:00 a.m. responded to burns and updated it within ten minutes following a response to hazardous materials due to a large number of evacuated workers and several people experiencing “medical emergencies around the facility,” said Zachary Brackett, a spokeswoman for the Hall County Fire Service. , Said at a news conference on Thursday afternoon.
Five people died in the facility. Another person died after being transported to hospital.
