At least 15 deaths in combat with FARC claims

(CNN Español) – At least 14 people were killed by the Colombian Revolutionary Armed Forces (FARC) and a militia was killed in a clash in the Argelia municipality in the Cauca department.

In a statement, the Colombian Ejército says that the dissident fighters belong to one of the denominated residual armed groups, specifically the “Carlos Patiño”.

According to the communication, during the training “results will be an official, a sufoficial and five soldiers, and lamentably gue assigned one of our superstates, the third cow Diego Ricardo Gómez”.

Ejército’s commander, Eduardo Zapateiro, said on Twitter that the military had carried out explosive artillery and that including an airplane from Fuerza Aérea had been “affected” during the incident.

The military soldiers were taken to a hospital and recovered “satisfactorily”, explained in the communication.

The operation also includes armed forces, ammunition and arrest in a near-accident.

In view of the alleged failures of the FARC, the Ejército reported that: obstructing the procedures carried out by the competent authorities, impending the application of the methods as the custodian’s cadence and demas acts urgent and haya lugar donde ocurrieron los hechos ».

The Ejército also says that “some integral part of the civilian population are obstructing the work of the tropics” and the accusation of being involved in drug trafficking.

Although the communication does not present evidence of the allegations, it says that “these actions will be announced before the competent authorities”.
