ASUS unveils 3 new Chromebooks at CES 2021 with Intel Evo and AMD on board

Just when you thought CES 2021 wasn’t delivering too much on the Chromebook front, ASUS appeared and blew the doors off with not one, but two, but three new Chromebooks for the coming year. Two of them like the latest 11th generation Tiger Lake processors from Intel and the other one is the first from ASUS with an AMD Ryzen processor inside. All three will be released by the second quarter of 2021, and all three are great to watch, and this continues ASUS ‘trend of attractive, interesting Chromebooks for the coming year. Let’s investigate what has been announced.

ASUS Chromebook CX9

First up is the ASUS Chromebook CX9, a premium Chromebook door-to-door that is the Chrome OS variation of the newly announced ExpertBook B9 running Windows. This device is by far the best Chromebook from ASUS to date and is equipped with all the bells and whistles you would expect in the best hardware. Featuring the ASUS-branded NanoEdge display, an ultra-light 2.2 lb chassis, premium materials and a slim 16mm profile, this device looks completely open as well as open.
