Assassin’s Creed Valhalla’s next big patch finally adds transmog • Eurogamer.net

Plus: Easter event, new skills, camera option.

Assassin’s Creed Valhalla will implement its next major update tomorrow, around noon British time.

Version 1.2.0 offers in-game gearbox, new skills, a fresh camera option and support for Valhalla’s upcoming “Ostara” festival.

The addition of transmissions has been a regular fan of fans since the game was introduced, and after it became a popular addition to the series in Odyssey. However, there is a change in the way it works in the game. You must transport your items in Ravensthorpe by your blacksmith, Gunnar, and pay a small fee of 50 silver for each item on which you change the look.

Valhalla’s new update also adds three new skills: Fearless Leaper, which adds greater AOE damage and removes height limits for jump attacks; Raven’s Loot, which gives you gifts that prey on targets killed with various attacks; and Loot Food, which gives you a greater chance of finding food products on corpses. It does not sound hygienic.

With a new “Lock Camera” option, you can enable a closer field of view during normal play that zooms out during combat.

Ubisoft’s extensive patch notes also include hundreds of minor improvements, balance changes, and bug fixes. My favorite is “there will be more cats all over England now”. Here’s another good thing: “Addressed an issue that caused dead pigs to return to a standing position quickly.”

As for Valhalla’s Ostara Festival, Ubisoft teased a spring ‘flowery Ravensthorpe’ with some ‘unique side activities (like egg hunts) and special rewards’.

The event runs from March 18 to April 8 and will be fully explained separately by Ubisoft within a few days.
