Assassin’s Creed Valhalla’s broken face animations will be addressed in an upcoming patch

Assassin's Creed Valhalla Face Bug

Ubisoft has updated its official list of ‘Known Issues’ for Assassin’s Creed Valhalla. This is where the development team takes note of existing bugs and provides a rough time frame on when players can expect them to be corrected.

Recently added to the list is “Lip Sync / Mouth motion during dialogue since 1.1.1”, which will apparently be addressed “in a future update”. For those off-track, the game’s latest app – version 1,011 on PlayStation platforms – has exacerbated an issue where face animations disappear during dialogue. This is, to say the least, a disturbing mistake, but at least it’s Ubisoft.

It’s unclear when the next Assassin’s Creed Valhalla patch will actually fall, but we do know that the game will get a major update in February, which includes ‘River Raids’ – a brand new kind of activity. We will surely learn more about it in the near future.
