Assassin’s Creed Valhalla removes content after updating the game is the cause of setback

Assassin’s Creed Valhalla Update 1.2 has been released this week on PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X, Xbox Series S, PC and Google Stadiums, adding a long time feature in the process, along with a ton of new content including free DLC players bring back to the first game. That said, while it was the game’s biggest update in a while, it also seems to be quite problematic. Since his release, players have, to a large extent, reported major errors and even accidents. As a result, some of the new content it added was removed from the game in the hotfix.

Over on Twitter, the official Assassin’s Creed account revealed that a hotfix had been moved to the server side to resolve the issues occurring in Ravensthorpe and vicinity. In an effort to achieve this, Ubisoft has removed settlement decorations, and Ostara Festival search with decorations will now no longer be complete.

“We are introducing a hotfix on the bedside to address an increase in accidents near Ravensthorpe,” the report said. “Settlement decorations will be temporarily removed and the tasks of the Ostara Festival with decorations cannot be completed.”

At the time of publication, it is not entirely clear whether this hotfix fixed all the issues that crashed. And it’s also unclear when this content will be added to the game again. What is clear is that players are starting to lose patience.
