Assassin’s Creed Valhalla DLC 3 leaks, and it looks like a big one

Although the first two story-based DLCs for Assassin’s Creed Valhalla are not yet known, the third DLC is leaking and could have major implications.

Currently, along with some seasonal content, Assassin’s Creed Valhalla‘s season map contains two major DLCs: The Wrath of the Druids and The Siege of Paris. The former will see players travel to Ireland and face one of the many cults in the world, while the latter deals with the Vikings in France. Both are equally exciting and will likely move the story forward as with Assassin’s Creed Odysseysee DLC.

However, both seem relatively soft compared to the adventures AC Odyssey‘s Kassandra / Alexios went on with the Greek gods. It could be that they are building up to a big third arc, so many stories and even Assassin’s Creed do it often, and the recent leak of a third DLC might just indicate that.

Assassin’s Creed Valhalla DLC 3: Meteor

By digging through the game code, YouTuber j0nathan apparently discovered a third major DLC. It’s worth noting that this particular lick has been incredibly accurate lately, and that the source of the lick, the game code itself, is quite promising. In the past, j0nathan leaked Assassin’s Creed Valhalla‘s release date accurate (before moving up a week). More recently, he has some of the achievements, future weapons, and more for leaks Assassin’s Creed Valhalla DLCs that were more or less confirmed shortly thereafter.

Unfortunately, not much is discovered. In Assassin’s Creed Valhalla‘s code, there is something listed as DLC_EXP3_Meteor, which follows the same patterns as the Irish and Francia DLCs listed there. It itself asks for a bunch of questions: is it part of the current season pass that is kept secret, is it a premium DLC that is placed after the season pass, does it really make it into the game or is it content, and more? Just because it’s here does not mean it’s ever going to be in the game, but it’s a good indication that it’s in a certain capacity at some point, maybe even as a future DLC. Unfortunately, it’s likely that answers are far away, but it’s almost certain that the DLC is not just ‘Meteor’. After all, the code contains two settings, not DLC names, and this has major implications.

Assassin’s Creed Valhalla, Catastrophe Inbound?

Asgard

Following the above pattern in the speculative rabbit hole, it is unlikely that a “meteor” is the actual environment. Instead, it may imply that there is some kind of disaster or disaster, which as fans know is actually the whole idea behind the contemporary story. As implied by the modern end in Assassin’s Creed Valhalla, another major catastrophe is on the way. While those characters search the different timelines to find a way to end it, there are definitely devastating elements in the modern story.

Avoiding spoilers would seemingly imply that the third DLC would be another disaster. It may be that the location is somewhat more mystical, tending to the mythological elements of Assassin’s Creed Valhalla. As Odyssey players after a simulation of Atlantis and Hades, it could take players to something more mystical as a way to move the story forward. It could be that it is about wrapping the new elements that have been imported AC Valhalla, thus bringing the latest story to an end, but it remains to be seen. In general, the idea of a “Meteor” DLC implies some doomsday element that can pay a lot for many who come to the end.

Assassin’s Creed Valhalla is now available for PC, PS4, PS5, Stages, Xbox One and Xbox Series X.
