On March 13, a year has passed since President Alejandro Giammattei confirmed the first case of coronavirus in Guatemala. It was taken by a young man of 27 years who regressed on a journey through Europe.
He was transferred to Villa Nueva Hospital where he was waiting for the first patients to be taken to hospital. The Assistance Center of the Park de la Industria is set to operate on March 24 to attend patients exclusively with covid-19.
During this year, health workers working in the lodge have been distinguished by different problems, from the quality of the committee that has been covered by medical, nursing and personal payrolls.
This Saturday, the place is light tranquilo. Only people are allowed to access the form in which they can access tests to detect coronavirus, although these are not performed in this hospital center for the people who are applying.
