Asia is Svart, the most sustainable hotel in the world that opens in Norway

Based on nature and following the principles of the circular economy, Svart will be the first hotel in the world to generate more energy from the host. Will open its doors in 2022, in Norway.

It is located near the Svartisen glacier, north of the Arctic Circle, in the Meløy municipality. “The design is of great impact, the construction is based on local materials in the medium of the possible and is subject to strict criteria of sustainability”, details on its web site.

The store will host around 100 accommodations, a design lab and a sustainable granary that will produce ingredients for the hotel’s four restaurants.
