An international team of investigators has discovered a nanocamaleon, a new species of chameleon that hatred in terms of a single human and whose body has the mana of mania.

“With a corporal length of sole 13.5 millimeters (from the base to the cola) and a longitudinal length of 22 millimeters (containing the cola), the nanocamaleon macho is the most concocted between all the superior vertebrae”, explained in a communication the investigator of the Munich Zoological Collection (ZSM) first author of the study, Frank Glaw.

This new species of chameleon (Brookesia nana) was discovered in the north of the island of Madagascar (to this of Africa) by German-Malagasy investigators led by the ZSM.

“The effect of the island, according to which species are most important in the small islands, is not a convincing explanation for these habitats of the mountains”, investigates the researcher of the University of Antananarivo in Madagascar, Fano-mezana Ratsoavina.

The hammer is significantly larger, with a corporal length of 19 millimeters and a longitudinal of 29.

According to the scientists, at the moment he has not been able to find any more specimens of the new species, which he has, according to his investigations, of several square kilometers.

“Unfortunately, the habit of the nanocamaleon is very affected by the deforestation, but the area was able to protect itself recently due to the sober species”, indicates the scientist of the Center for Natural History of Hamburg, Oliver Hawlitschek, who participates in the investigation.

To determine the age of the specimens, the researchers analyze their genitals, how to find the eggs in the interior of the body of the male.

To avoid it, the same thing is sexually mature, the team examines the genitals of the animal, known as hemipenes, which are duplicated in all types and types and, including the scientists, suelen are important characteristics to distinguish species.

The investigators also compared the length of their genitals with other 51 species of camellias from Madagascar and I will discover a tendency for the species of camellias to be smaller than the larger male genitals in relation to the body of the body.

In the case of the nanocamaleon, its length is 18.5 per cent of the length of the body, the fifth value is higher than all the species of studied camellias, and in the species B. tuberculate, which is also very small, the genitals should represent a third of the length of the body.

According to investigators, it is possible to talk about the difference between sex and the lame sexual dimorphism– that, in the case of the species of larger camellias, the machos suelen be more large than the hembras, while those in the most small species, succeeding in the opposite.

“Consequently, extremely extremely miniaturized machines require relatively large genitals to be able to appear with their breasts, which are quite large,” explains Miguel Vences, of the Braunschweig University of Technology.
