(CNN) – The Federal Police of Brazil arrests golfer Angel Cabrera on a red card from Interpol for alleged criminal crimes in Argentina.
In a statement issued by the Federal Police in Rio de Janeiro, an Argentine of 51 years has not been identified as the four arrested.
An agent of the Federal Police de Río de Janeiro, where no identification is confirmed, is a CNN confirming the arrest of the ‘El Famoso Campeón de Golf El Pato’.
Angel Cabrera, known as “The Path”, won both the Masters and the US Open.
The police say that the Supreme Court of Brazil executes an arrest warrant for the extradition and that the person will be sent to prison until the final extradition to Argentina.
Cabrera has been accused of agreeing to his exnovia in Argentina, along with a minor robbery offense.
CNN spoke to its lawyer, Miguel Gavier, who made a statement.
In August, Gavier told CNN in Spanish that Cabrera had denied the charges. Dijo said he did not intend to issue the Red Interpol notification to Argentina because his client was cooperating and had received a tax statement from the tax authorities stating that it was not necessary for Cabrera to obtain permission to travel. Last year, the Juez affirmed that in order for Cabrera to become permanently free, he would maintain a residence established in Argentina and be able to dispose of the Corte when he was fired.
“Being ignorant in both cases and hoping to be absurd based on the rehearsed rehearsals,” he said.
Neither Interpol nor the Corte de Justicia de Córdoba, Argentina, have revealed the CNN scandals.
Police say the arrest should take place on a road in Leblon, on the outskirts of Rio de Janeiro. Cabrera has been taxed in Argentina.
According to the Federal Police agent, Ángel lució was surprised to “agree with the arrest, without intending to escape anything”.
The federal police agent did not identify CNN’s day that Angel went to Brazil on December 31, United States proceedings, and the Supreme Court issued a judicial order on January 9.
