Armie Hammer’s estranged wife, Elizabeth Chambers, has been silent about the controversy surrounding her soon-to-be ex, but no more.
The TV personality, who filed for divorce from the actor in July, could not help commenting on a report about the actor Call me by your name director Luca Guadagnino and co-star Timothée Chalamet collaborate on a cannibal love story called Bones & All.
In response to Just Jared’s Instagram post with the news, Chambers wrote: ‘No. Words. ”
The horror film focuses on a woman ‘during a country trip while searching for the father she has never met, in an attempt to understand why she wants to kill and eat the people who love her,’ according to The Hollywood Reporter. It is based on the novel of the same name by Camille DeAngelis.
Hammer, with whom Chambers shares two young children, has left two projects – The godfather TV series and the movie Shotgun Wedding– since social media posts leaked from the anonymous account House of Effie, alleged non-consensual and violent sexual encounters and emotional abuse by Hammer, who denied the claims. The alleged conversations talked about, among other things, rape fantasies, his desire to inflict pain on his friends and one who claims that he was ‘100% a cannibal’.
This led to two other women, who said they had been dating him since his split with rooms, coming forward. Courtney Vucekovich claimed Hammer was emotionally abusive and wanted to eat her flesh, which led to her receiving treatment for PTSD after they divorced. Paige Lorenze also alleged that he branded her, left her covered with bruises and wanted to remove one of her ribs and eat.
When Hammer fell out Shotgun Wedding, he issued a statement in which he addressed the controversy, saying: ‘I do not respond to these bulls, but in view of the malicious and false attacks on me, I can no longer leave my children behind for 4 months not. shoots a movie in the Dominican Republic. ‘
The only other remark Hammer made was when he apologized after posting a video in his private Instagram account of a woman wearing underwear in bed, which he called ‘Miss Cayman’. In a statement to the Cayman Compass, he said, ‘I want to make it clear that the person in my video, which was stolen from my private Instagram, is not Miss Cayman. I am sincerely sorry for any confusion that caused my foolish attempt at humor. Hammer and Chambers were married in 2010 and are parents to Harper (6) and Ford (4). They announced their split in July and she stayed with their children in the Cayman Islands. He could only visit the children again during the holidays.
Chambers otherwise did not speak publicly about the rift, but a friend close to the former TV correspondent told a tabloid newspaper that although she was aware of his infidelity, he had a “whole other side to him of which she was not aware. ” The friend adds: “Army turns out to be a monster.”
