Last week, the Arizona government, Doug Ducey, signed an executive order to hopefully increase the state’s vaccination efforts and make more vaccinations available. The issue, however, was the number of vaccines the state could receive.
To date, according to ADHD, more than 702,000 doses of the vaccine have been administered to more than 579,000 Arizonans, of which 109,000 have received both doses.

“We know that the vaccine is in high demand, and we expect the appointments to fill up quickly,” said the director of ADHD, Dr. Cara Christ, said. “Due to the success of the State Farm Stadium site, we can quickly repeat these sites to add capacity when we get vaccinated. Our only limiting factor is the amount of vaccine we receive from our federal partners. “
