Register to Covid-19 vaccine has become a new task for millions of Americans hoping to be vaccinated against the deadly coronavirus that has gripped the world for a year. (To date, the U.S. has vaccinated more than 95 million people.) Although production and vaccinations increase, available places it can be difficult to obtain, especially in cities and states that are hit hard.
If you are not in any of the eligible priority groups for a vaccine in your area, you can add yourself to a ‘surplus’ assistance list coronavirus vaccines on a given site. Note, this is unused stock that would otherwise be sold at the end of the day.

How to get an extra COVID-19 vaccine
Dr. B is a new service that will help tailor extra vaccines to people in your area. If you apparently cannot make an appointment for a COVID-19 vaccine, visit Dr. B-website. Click on the button that says I want the COVID vaccine and enter your phone number. Go to the next step and enter the verification code sent to your phone. For the next step, you need to enter your full name, zip code, date of birth and email address.
Once the step is complete, go to the health conditions you have, for example asthma, kidney disease or pregnancy. Tap the if none of you apply Next step button. The website will then ask you to choose your profession, followed by if you live in a group home or long-term facility. Tap once all the questions have been answered Submit registration and you are ready. If you are selected, you will be notified where you need to get vaccinated and what time you need to be there.
Follow COVID-19 doses for each state
To track the number of COVID-19 vaccines distributed in your state, visit the COVID Data Tracker (Centers for Disease Control and Prevention) website (this works best if you use a desktop). Here you see a map of the US. Move your cursor over each state to see total doses, distribute doses, people who received one or more doses, and people who received both doses.

What vaccines do people get?
Currently there three vaccines approved by the Food and Drug Administration in the USA: Moderna, Pfizer and Johnson & Johnson. Currently, Pfizer is being administered more, with more than 46.8 million shots. Moderna, approved after Pfizer, has more than 46.5 million doses. Johnson & Johnson approaches 259,000. More than 121,000 doses administered have not yet been identified.
