Are you considering switching? [Poll]- 9to5Mac

Just as people have been arguing about iOS over Android, the debate between Apple Music and Spotify has also intensified since 2015. As the music streaming service war begins to bring podcasts and HiFi to the battlefield, are you planning to stay with your current streaming service, or are you considering moving on link?

I’ve been using Apple Music since it’s launched. Even though Apple deleted my library a few times, I did not care. When some songs duplicated, I did not mind it either. Now, Apple Music is struggling to show the real album art to some artists and is reliable. Do I have to care now?

On the other hand, we regularly report on all the changes that Spotify is making to its platform. It added podcasts, and the early data shows it was a success. It also plans to launch a HiFi-level subscription this year and it has recently revamped all its applications.

I used to complain because I did not get Spotify’s user interface, but when I started comparing with Apple Music, I now see that it’s very similar. Compare yourself:

Apple Music

Spotify

If you compare prices, it’s exactly the same: $ 9.99 / month for an individual level, $ 14.99 / month for a family subscription, and $ 4.99 / month for a student application. The difference here is that Apple now offers Apple One, so it’s easier to stay with Apple Music because you can also receive iCloud, Apple Arcade and Apple TV + completely.

The individual Apple One plan is $ 14.95 per month, while the family plan is $ 19.95 per month: a very good deal. On the other hand, Spotify has a free ad-based version and a Premium Duo, for two people living for $ 12.99 a month.

At any of the services you can get a good price depending on your need. But if you’re some kind of Apple person, you can ask if Spotify can integrate with all your devices. Spotify has an Apple Watch app, a macOS app and a browser app, but the company does not yet support HomePod integration.

For example: if you like to share and know what your friends are listening to, you can do so in real time with Spotify. If you want to combine podcasts and music in one place, Spotify also supports it. If you want a nice end-of-year summary, Spotify may also outperform Apple Music.

As an Apple One subscriber and all Apple devices integrated with Apple Music, I’m now considering switching to Spotify and want to ask: Are you happy with your current music streaming service? Are you planning to switch? Vote in the poll and tell me in the comments below.
