Arc System Works really gave Leo a thin command grip in Guilty Gear Strive to get him blocked as it was before

He retains almost everything too

Anyone who has fought a strong Leo player in Guilty Gear Xrd is probably still waking up at night about what way to try to block a king’s wild beast, and the developers seem to be doubling down on part of his game.

Arc System Works has now released the beginner’s guide for Leo Whitefang as he will appear in Guilty Gear Strive, and it looks like they have made his backlog even better than in the previous game.

Unlike Ramlethal, who has turned almost all of her special offerings into Strive, Leo remains largely the same in his set of moves with his multiple fireball, invincible reversal and more at his disposal.

The biggest difference seems to be that its Kaltes Gestöber Erst rekka attacks were split into their own offerings while they received the new Turbulenz ground explosion special over its Siegesparade from Xrd.

None of this really matters that much, but like Leo’s Glossy Dark Command that he can use in his Brynhildr stance, his opponents now have to guess which way to block. and if there is a large oil red to literally dip them.

We will soon see in the beta whether Leo does better in entering the enemy, but if / when he does, good luck to those who stare at his back.
