Considering how popular Dungeon Fighter online especially in Asia, it makes sense for the IP to branch out into other genres. No release date or platforms have been announced yet, but I’m sure information will appear in the future.
This is not the first rodeo of Arc System Works with a third party, as they also worked Granblue Fantasy Versus. XSEED Games also unveils partnership with Arc System Works for ‘ARCREVO America Online 2020’, an online tournament hosted Granblue Fantasy: Versus and BlazBlue: Cross Tag Battle. Starting in October 2020, the top two players in Granblue Fantasy: Versus and BlazBlue: Cross Tag Battle from each region have been invited to participate in a special America USA Japan exhibition competition planned for the spring of 2021.
Producer Yuito Kimura and director Tetsuya Fukuhara talk about how they want to make more Granblou games. However, they have stated that they can not work on too many projects at once and must first complete the PS4 action RPG Granblue Fantasy Relink. Once the PS4 version is finished, the game can also get ports to other platforms like Stadia, PC and PS5. Granblue Fantasy Versus is available on PS4 and PC. Arc System Works also worked hard on the development Guilty equipment -STRIVE-. It was recently confirmed that the title will contain a backlink network code to many fans. Recently, during the Live Fighting Livestream fighters of the Japan Fighting Game Publisher, Leo Whitefang and Nagoriyuki, the title was announced. Two other trailers unveiled Ramlethal Valentine as well as Millia Rage and Zato = 1. So far we know that the previously announced characters are the protagonists Sol Badguy and Ky Kiske, Axl Low and May, and Chipp Zanuff and Potemkin.
